Service with Pastor Leo Bigger - Miracles

Pastor Leo Bigger is verrrryyyyy funny!!!!
Really enjoyed the service with him. I didn't know that Europeans were so expressive! And he tells a lot of very relevant stories that are so inspiring!

Here are the main points of his sermon but I apologise, I didn't really take down the stories :( :( :( so sorry. I was too focused on listening and forgot to pen the examples down!

-----------------------------------------

When Jesus cursed the fig tree nothing happened. But the next day, the tree was withered.

1. Speak to the problem instead of about the problem.
Don't speak about the problem, speak to the problem.

When you speak about the problem:
- it seems to keep getting better
- it becomes even more unsolvable
- our imagination inflates the problem
- we bow down to the problem, rather than to Jesus
- the problem determines my life and no longer Jesus

This is a Biblical concept
Mark 11:14 (NIV) - Jesus speaks to the fig-tree.
Matthew 8:26 (NIV) - Jesus speaks to the storm
Matthew 21:21 (NIV) - Jesus tells us we are to speak to the mountain.
*** Mountains - are solid and seem like they will be there forever. That is like what problems seem like at times.
1 Samuel 17:45 (NIV) - David speaks to Goliath.
Zechariah 4:6 (NIV) - Zerubbabel spoke to the hindrance.

2. Command the problem to go
Mark 11:20-21 (NIV)

Daniel 6:10 (NIV)
- Does God hear only when the window is open? No.
- Is the direction important for God to hear? No
- Daniel knew the rebuilding of Jerusalem was supposed to happen in 70 years which is beyond his lifetime but he still prayed. Why? Because our prayers are like a seed which is a seed for the next generation.

3. Speak life into your situation.

Genesis 1:3 (NIV)
And God said "Let there be light" and there was light.

Speak life.
The devil will always tell lies.
We have to speak life.
